My girlfriend and I are heading over to Tonasket this weekend to look at some houses and land and I would like to look at some birds as well. Can anyone give me some tips on good places to bird around Tonasket or on the way? Specifically if anyone knows where to look for White-winged Crossbills, Sharp-tailed Grouse, Three-Toed and Black-backed woodpeckers, or Boreal Chickadees. Though there are lots of other eastern Washington birds that I haven't seen as well. Any advice and or info would be greatly appreciated.
