Hello All,
Today on the Kent Ponds (GRNRA) census, we had fleeting views of the adult
Red-shouldered Hawk which remains in the area of the knoll near Web Press.
Also seen today were 6 Canvasbacks, a Short-eared Owl, and an American
Kestrel.
In the afternoon I checked the logbooms at Gene Coulon Park and saw a bright
white 1st winter Glaucous Gull among about 1000 other gulls. There were next
to no gulls at Cedar River mouth today, for some reason.
