Subject: [Tweeters] Ridgefield NWR: Tree Swallow, Lincoln's Sparrow

On Monday, 21 January 2008, I observed a lone TREE SWALLOW at the River S
Unit of Ridgefield NWR in Clark County. Tree Swallows have been reported
recently in Oregon, too.

I also saw a LINCOLN'S SPARROW near the Bachelor Island plaque on the left
side of the road as you approach the observation blind.

There was a note on the kiosk white board about a male CASSIN'S FINCH being
sighted near the "rest area" (observation blind?). I did not see the bird
myself, nor do I know who wrote the note.
