The rudeness you should be referring to is the calling of everyone on
the list, savages, who chases starlings from their feeders, or who
hunt, or fish, or do anything else you disagree with.

Grownups understand that not every opinion they hold will be met with
approval by others. Grownups get over that and move forward without
impugning the character of those that hold those opinions. Grownups
don't pout and run away.
