Tweets - I led a trip to Vashon Island yesterday that was good, if somewhat
cold and damp. All of the inland ponds were frozen over, so we were pretty
shy on dabbling ducks and such, but otherwise we did pretty well.
Highlights:

Red-throated Loon One at Lisabuela Park
Eared Grebe Several at Tramp Harbor, next to Horned
Brant A half dozen seen from the ferry
Common Merganser Single, tight flock of 200! at Quartermaster Harbor
Greater Yellowlegs One at KVI Beach
Spotted Sandpiper One at Lisabuela Park
Thayer's Gull One pacing the ferry on the way there
Pileated Woodpecker Two at Point Robinson
Hermit Thrush Several; three locations

For the day, 67 species.
