Hi Tweeties!

Here at my new property outside Snohomish I've heard a strange sound
coming from the trees or the wetland on my property. I hear it during
daylight hours only.

Here's the best description:

A very resonate "onk-onk-onk-a donk......ka thwank" It will repeat a
couple of times and then I don't hear it again for a couple of days.

We have a 1/4 or so acre of wetland filled with nice sedges, skunk
cabbages, and native grassy growth. The wetland at times is wet
enough to be duck friendly. The trees are fir and other evergreens.
There is a wooded area on adjoining property.

Any ideas?
