I've been doing a lot of commuting in the past few weeks to the Seattle area and back.? I have noticed two Osprey nests along the major interstates on cell phone towers.? The first is in Pierce County near Lakewood on I-5.? And the other is along I-405 in King County near Renton.? I know of another nest on a cell phone tower in Ocean Shores as well.? I wonder if these will help proliferate the species as they continue to pop up everywhere.? Then again it makes you wonder if there may be some kind of bad side effect to being exposed to whatever radio waves those towers receive and emit.? Probably a good research paper subject!?
