Hi All,

Well, I took a pretty good beating for suggesting that I might have seen a SCARLET TANAGER near the top of Mt. Baker highway. As I mentioned at the time, it was a pretty quick look and I am not too familiar with the rare or common birds in this part of the country. Sorry I ruffled some feathers. (ouch)

As Carol Riddell has pointed out to me it is much more likely that I saw a Red Crossbill. I'll never know for sure, but I think she is probably right.
