I checked Vancouver Lake in Clark County this morning and counted
43 WESTERN GREBES and 5 CLARK'S GREBES from the Flushing Channel. I did
not see many other birds during my quick visit and will be awaiting a
drop in the Columbia River levels so that some mudflats begin to appear
that will attract some shorebirds.
