Hi,
I was so happy to get three great books from Flora and Fauna yesterday on the Sagebrush habitat we are wanting to learn much more about. When I did call the store David was very helpful, but said in truth there is Not that much information on this area in book form.
Does any biologist have a list of all the reptiles, insects, mammals, of this habitat??? I can get the books for the pictures. I have great books now for the natural history of the area, as well as the beautiful plant life, but limited pictures of the others. I do have a pic of the rattlesnake, which is very important, (if only my dogs could look at it and I could tell them stay away!) (at least they get anti venom inoculations, which I didn't know were available).....
Thanks to Paul Bannick for recommending contacting Flora and Fauna, and thanks to Bob Sundstrom for recommending the book by Taylor.
Just in case anyone is interested here is the list of the very good books I acquired.

SAGEBRUSH COUNTRY A Wildflower Sanctuary by Ronald J Taylor

NORTHWEST ARID LANDS by Georganne O'Connor and Karen Wieda

SINGING GRASS, BURNING SAGE by Jack Nisbet

I looked through all three books quite a bit already, and they are going to be a huge asset.
But I still want any lists that might be around,

Thanks so much for your time,--
