Subject: [Tweeters] Seeking recommendations - birding sites

Hi,

I will be in Washington, primarily for birding, Jul 30 - Aug 9. I expect to
spend most of my time in the Olympic peninsula with perhaps a side trip,
possibly up the Skagit River valley or somewhere else depending on the
response to this email. My nephew is a mountain climbing guide on Mount
Rainier so we take a day trip there.

I have the Opperman book "A Birder's Guide to Washington" which describes
and recommends more places than I will have time to visit.

Given the time of year that I will be there, I would appreciate any
suggestions on those sites that will be most productive. I will be taking a
pelagic trip out of Westport on Aug 2.

Thanks in advance for your help. You may want to email me directly -
