Thanks to Kevin Mack for the Cedar River posting on 7/21/08. This is a location I haven't visited before, so I decided it would be worth taking a look. What a pleasant surprise, and less than 40 mi. from Seattle! After walking up towards Rattlesnake Lake Ledge about 1.5 miles from the Ed. Center I was very disappointed because of seeing very few birds. I turned around and headed back toward the Education Center. THAT'S WHERE THE BIRDS ARE! Just like Kevin said. You don't have to walk for miles looking for birds. It just takes a little patience in hanging around the various overlooks and they came to me.

Admittedly I was really out of my element in that area. I saw quite a few birds that really confused me after looking through my Sibley's. They all look so much alike!! Sooooo attached are photo's of what I saw today. I attempt to identify the birds I saw but, clarification of those sightings would be appreciated.
