Just received a phone call from Russ Koppendrayer reporting he had seen a
Semipalmated Sandpiper at the Mint Farms Industrial area wetlands mitigation
ponds. He said he saw it about 6 PM along with some other shorebirds at the
ponds. According to Russ this is a Cowlitz County first. I am posting this as
I know he does not have the facilities to do so. I plan on going out
tomorrow and trying my luck.
