Hello Tweeties!
Here is a link to shots of some feathers found on our property here in
Snohomish County. We live on five acres just off Three Lakes Road. We
have a wetland area, now in a dry phase, and tall evergreens on the
edge of the property. All adjoining properties are 4 acres or more and
quite woodsy. Last night around eight PM, a huge owl was sighted
sitting on a tall post overlooking the stream and the heavy woods on
the north side of the property. At dusk about three weeks ago I
sighted a large low flying brown bird flying over the dry wetland.
Here's the link to my Flickr page. I have made the shots public and
are the first ones on my page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gizathecat/
Are these owl feathers? My sister-in-law and husband saw the bird.
She said the owl turned its head all the way around.
Thanks,
