Subject: [Tweeters] Osprey nests on pilings in Columbia River north of

Driving to Portland on I-5 Southbound I had a 2-3 second glimpse at a
pair of pilings in the Columbia River, 2-3 miles north of Kalama and
fairly close to shore. It looked like each piling had a nest with an
adult with young on one, and an adult flying towards the other with a
branch or twig in its beak. Whitish heads. I'm guessing osprey.
Can anyone confirm or correct this?
Thanks
