Hello all,

At short notice I'm going to have six days on the North Island in New Zealand in late August and am wondering if anyone has suggestions for birding, contacts for folks who might be willing to have someone tag along while birding, and recommendations for the best bird guide. I already have a 1993 copy of Collins Field Guide to Birds of New Zealand (Falla et al).
