Today about 10 a.m. we had uncountable numbers of Siskin's in our trees, in the air, on our feeders and sitting the pull cord of our feeder line. By the time they left our feeders were empty and the 16" feeder socks (2) had only about an 1.5 inches of thistle seed left in them. Looking out just now there isn't a Siskin in sight. We must have had a couple of hundred young this year if not more. We have never had this many in the 10 years that we have been here. WOW!!
