Hi,
This past Sunday we went with some friends to an area near a Nature Conservancy reserve (don't know the name of it), north east of Euphrata, and had a wonderful time, even got good looks at two rattlesnakes. (It was near Rim Rock Meadows) One mile NORTH of mile marker 12 on highway 283,(south of Euphrata) we found Burrowing Owls, one adult and two fledglings, not too far off the road, on the east side.
I was pretty excited, but I don't know if this is a nest that was man made or a natural one. Does anyone have any information on this nest? It seemed rather close to the road to me.
