I watched a pair of Great Blue Herons have a brief territorial dispute yesterday in East Bay, Olympia. The posturing had lasted about twenty minutes and had appeared to have been resolved peacefully when all of a sudden they got back into it. The light was poor and they were quite far a away but I've posted a series of pictures at:
