Saturday morning I had a clear calling Olive Sided Flycatcher (OSFL) for about half an hour.
I also decided to look at a bird at the top of a nearby cedar--it was a Cedar Waxwing! Surprise. Once I saw it, I could hear its thin call...

Also, I have had Black-headed Grosbeaks (BHGR) since 5/19/08 (first seen at my neighbor's house 5/16). Since then, I've always had two or more (up to five); always a male-female pair, and then either another male, or another female. It sure seems like a long time for them staying, or at least a wide traveling spread. They were still here this morning. Does this seem like a long time to other people too?
