Fellow Goshawk Seekers:

Today I took Nelson Briefer's advise and darn if I didn't have not one, but three, no it was four, Oh wait, there's another flock, Hmmmm, looks like 5, 6, 7, 8, ... Ah 27 Goshawks at my Hummingbird feeder. Wow! He was right! They are EVERYWHERE!!!...Oh, wait again, sorry, I had my binos backwards and it was just a colony of ants... my bad.

Dear birders and hawk watchers- and there is a world of difference. If you
are really interested in raptors, and really interested in observing something

unique, and interested in contributing to science... then you should heed my
words. I have spent 6 months in Tucson, documenting and photographing
Goshawks. I have 44 daily sightings during my 6 month, minus 9 days in
Washington

state, visit. All my information has been transferred to my blog.
If you are only using field marks to identify accipiters - in some cases,
you might be taking the wrong path! Enjoy!
