I heard one singing down at the Snake Lake Nature Center last week, and
there are quite a few near Poulsbo.

Roger,
They have gotten scarce close to the built up areas but are still singing
away at Marymoor Park and along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail at Duvall and
Stillwater.

I haven't seen purple finches in years. (I used to see tons of 'em around my
feeders, but no more...) I've been watching this list closely, but I don't
recall seeing any mention of purple finches. Has anyone seen them? If so,
where and when?
