I had to make another unexpected trip to Spokane today and didn't want to pass up Sprague Lake on the way back. As usual the wind was a factor, whitecaps and very hard to keep the scope steady. From the WDFW access the usual gulls were visible, Western Grebes and assorted waterfowl. Also today 6 BLACK TERNS and 6 adult FRANKLIN'S GULLS. Another small subadult gull appeared to be a Bonaparte's Gull but the distance and visibility left some doubt.
