Hello All,

Well it is great to have so many folks here in Walla Walla birding. The
thought that many eyes find good birds is so true!

Birds of note to date are as follows: Male Indigo Bunting 4.9 miles from
the end of the pavement up the North Fork of Coppei Creek-Found by Jim
Danzenbaker on Thursday-This is a Walla Walla County first record.

Least Flycatcher-one pair at the junction of Coppei Creek Rd. and McCowen Rd
south of Waitsburg. Third year running that this species has been at this
site.-found by Brad Waggoner today.

Am. Redstart-one male bird-along Biscuit Ridge Rd.-found by Brian Bell this
morning.

Green Tailed Towhee-One bird on Biscuit Ridge this morning-found by Gene
Hunn.

Sandhill Crane-one bird over the Walla Walla River delta this morning. This
is the first Walla Walla County June record.-Found by Tom and Diane Weber

That is the results of the first day out in the field.
