If I'm "hearing" your phonetics correctly in my mind, and remembering what I
heard in days past, your elusive bird may be a Wilson's Warbler.

I heard this attention-getting call over the last few years in my back yard
and finally spotted the culprit on the 3rd or 4th opportunity.
