I'm delighted that the goldfinch are enjoying my finch feeder in
increasing numbers. The purple finch visit regularly also, and (to my
surprise) the white crowned sparrows seem to like it better than the
platform feeder or suet cages. That may be because the Jays usually
dominate the platform, although recently, the grosbeaks are here in such
great numbers that the Jays perch on the fence posts and wait their turn!
