Tweeters,

One of the spin offs of the Monroe Wagner Elementary School Save Our
Swifts Project is an Eagle Scout Project to construct and place a
Vaux's Swift nest box near the Wagner Chimney migration roost site. It
is one foot by one foot by twelve feet long and is going to be attached
to the chimney tomorrow. Can't get much closer than that.

This is pretty neat stuff.

There are still hundreds of swifts going into the Monroe roost site,
and the same for the site I've been monitoring. Could these be local
birds that have not paired up?
