Hi Tweeters & Inland-NW-Birders -

An updated version of the 2008 county year list project is up at
Washington Birder. While individual county listing is fun, the idea
behind this project was to try to keep track of the 'community' list:
all the birds seen by anyone, rather than just those seen by one
person. We've got compilers keeping track of the cumulative year
list for each county in Washington and they'd be grateful for any
help you might have in filling in some of the gaps on the lists.

The posted version of the list only covers results through the
beginning of May -- we'll hopefuly get another update together at the
end of this month that should cover the big spring migration push.

As of the end of April 325 species had been reported across the
state, with several counties already of the 200 species mark after 4
months [King, Skagit & Yakima].
