Hi all,

Here are a handful of decent images I got from my recent NE Alaska, BC, NW Territories and Yukon trip. As always, it is a challenge to get good shots of any birds or mammals especially with my meager set up and inexperience. Many coveted subjects were uncooperative by flying or scurrying away, but a few stayed. I simply could not capture the magnitude of majesty beauty of the many mountain scenery.

I still have a lot to learn since I have little patience. The process is all so humbling and it makes me appreciate the true bird photographers and what they do to get the right shot. Hiking and moving on moist, tussocky tundra was quite a feat. Many of the areas I went to had no designated trails but for the most part, were not too tough to hike with some navigational skills.

Nevertheless, I hope you will enjoy. Some are grainy but serve as documentation. Most of the time, I couldn't stop shaking because I was so excited :)

>From many of my birding treks, it was an unforgetable trip--ranking up there in quality and learning so much.

If you get the time or chance, do it!!!
