Hi Tweeters,

I tried to post this from work this morning, but I must have attempted it too soon after subscribing on that computer, because it didn't make it to the list serve. I believe that the road that Kathy is referring to for the Indigo Bunting near Emerald Downs is M St. NW, which is the same road (although it has a different name after the 90 degree turn) in which the Black Phoebe had been spotted twice in the last two years. I stopped by on the way to work this morning, between 9:39-10:00 or so, without any success in locationg the bunting. I tried both pull-outs, and then worked my way to the dead end by the bridge. I did see more than 15 species of birds in that short time. Anyway, thanks for the post yesterday, Kathy; I always appreciate it when birders share a good sighting.

Good birding,
