I checked the fields alongside 204th St this morning for the red-necked
phalarope reported yesterday, but my hopes for a photo of this species in
breeding plumage were foiled yet again. It must have realised it was running
late and headed onwards overnight.



The flooded field on the north side of the road continues to host all three
species of teal, including at least four male blue-winged.
