Greetings All,

We were greeted with light clouds, no rain and no wind as 9 birders from Tahoma Audubon made the short trek over to the Hundred Acre Woods in NE Lakewood (Pierce Co).  It's true what they say about many hands... in this case many eyes, as we added two birds to the five year list I've been keeping of this area.  Today we were blessed with a nice male ANNA'S HUMMER and the distinctive call of a SORA.  Both are new birds for the list.  We IDed 53 species in all, including some beautiful looks a CINNAMON TEALS, lots of PEWEES and WILLOW FLYCATCHERS, and even more SCRUB JAYS.  A COMMON RAVEN was even nice enough to drop by.

Good birding,

Rolan Nelson
