Hello All,
Today we were joined by 19 other Blue Mountain Audubon birders and we
located the following species of note:

INDIGO BUNTING-1 male up the North Fork of Coppei Creek-Seen by many.
LEAST FLYCATCHER-There is a pair NEST building north of the bridge over
Coppei Creek along McCowan road off Hwy 12 south of Waitsburg.
Lewis Woodpecker - a pair up Jasper Mountain Road at the "T" in Columbia
County.
Lark Sparrow - 1 bird up n. fork Coppei Creek road in the burn
Green-tailed Towhee - 2 birds up Lewis Peak
Red-naped Sapsucker - 4 birds - 2 at a nest just north of the "T" up Jasper
Mt.

Also the BROWN THRASHER was heard in the Fort Walla Walla Natural Area this
morning by Ken Knittle (he saw it fly Friday evening), Ann Kahle and Alan
Richards.
