It used to be cards had only mallards but this bird photo on a greeting
card for father's day has me stumped.

The duck is with three ducklings (so presumably breeding plumage) It is in
the water floating. Looks mostly black except for white on the chest and
base of the neck. The beak is white mottled with a little black. At the base
of the beak around the nasal tuft and lores it is kind of lumpy annd RED and
the red extends around the eyes in a rather thick eye ring that really is
like a red mask.
