Hello All,
This morning while birding with friends from Pennsylvania inside Wallula Gap
we observed the following species of note:
Common Loon-2 birds in winter basic.
Am. Avocet-31 birds in a tight flock headed west through Wallula Gap low
over the Columbia River-apparently migration has started for them.
White-throated Swift-5 birds in Wallula Gap.
Rock Wrens-4 birds
Out in the western desert of Walla Walla Co.
Ferruginous Hawk-3 young and an adult.
Grasshopper Sparrow-2 birds
Elk-2 bulls in velvet out in the desert
That is it
Later Mike
