The WESTERN KINGBIRD on Smith Island (snohomish river delta) was still there as of mid-day today. It's been there since 6/12. It's fairly easy to spot- it really stays to the barbed wire fences surrounding the first seasonal pond on
12 th st. NE, a gravel road just north of the Everett Sewage Ponds. (just over the I-5 overpass before Langus Park turnoff). An intriguing shorebird out there too, just out of my binocular range. A short shorebird. I hope that narrows it down for you. Did'nt see the eastern kingbird or yellow-headed blackbird.
