Hello All,

The YB Chat was still at the location described (see below), on
6/17/08. From 3:50 PM to 4:20 PM, I heard this bird 4x, and saw it
briefly 2x.

Thanks to THWHT (aka Bill T.) and Tom S., for timely forwarding re
this first Pacific county record (so far as I know).

While running my Pe Ell Breeding Bird Survey this morning (Saturday),
Whittier Johnson and I had a singing Yellow-breasted Chat at the east
end of Elk Prairie in Pacific Co, just east of Frances. The location
is a large pull-off on the north side of Hwy 6, 0.5 miles west of MP
20, at the east end of the prairie area. This is the first Pacific
Co. record to my knowledge.
