I found myself needing to drive past Emerald Downs late yesterday. So Ollie
and I stopped and searched for the previously seen Indigo Bunting. This was
about 7:45-8:30pm. We didn't find it, but did see 3 male Lazuli Buntings
which was nice. The bird community was active at the time of day. There
are lots of scrubs and trees in that area. I assume the Indigo Bunting
could still be there or it could be long gone.



Another treat later, was seeing a flying and vocalizing Common Nighthawk in
Dupont WA area.
