I wish I could visit those Towhee babies at Tracey's! I have four baby squirrels (Douglas) that I adore, and who are always a guaranteed laugh (as well as totally unafraid of me when I fill the feeders!).

My current claim to fame is a downy woodpecker baby. Yesterday morning, I heard "bird noises" from my "feeder tree" that were not familiar. I walked closer, and had the joy of observing a mama Downey feeding her baby, both sitting on a branch!
Later, yesterday afternoon, Mama was trying to get the baby to the suet block hanging on my front porch... 'cept baby isn't the best at flying.. he sorta "landed" (none too gracefully) in my Fuschia basket next to the suet block. Mom brought him bites.

I have humming birds showing up left and right. Mind you, I had bragging rights to only one for the last few years. I'm up to 8 right now, so those of you with mega-birds are getting a good chuckle, but you understand my glee.

A nice Western Tanager was outside my window last week (a first for me! OOOOHHHHH HOW EXCITING!) - a most impressive beauty!

Also, Monday, walking mom's dog on the beach in Old Town Silverdale, I had the glorious good fortune to see an Osprey dive for food, come up empty handed, and dive again to score! He flew up to a Cottonwood tree where I had a GREAT view of him, and heard his call. He was back again, with a pal, yesterday evening.
