Perhaps the juncos that nest here are found at a bit of elevation.
I'm at ca. 700+ feet in Bothell and have them nesting here every
year. We also have lots of evergreens if that's a requisite. I've
often wondered if the same birds stay all year or I have different
ones in the winter or ??? They are neat birds, that's for sure.
