A pair of Dark-eyed Juncos nested somewhere near my mothers neighbors yard this spring... As of a few days ago it appears that they are building a new nest in her hanging fuchsia basket. Do they raise more than one brood a year or is it more likely that their previous nest failed before they were the young hatched or fledged?
