This morning, Sherry and I walked the entire loop of the Nisqually Refuge. Highlights were 2 Spotted Sandpipers, 3 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 1 AMERICAN WIGEON, 6 BLUE-WINGED TEAL, lots of Willow Flycathers and Cedar Waxwings, and finally 1 BARN OWL seen between the primitive trail and the observation tower. Closer to the primitive trail on the inner dike side sitting midway up in a dense stand of trees. For mammals, we saw 3 Muskrats along the outer dike portion of the trail.
