Subject: [Tweeters] Greylag Goose at the Locks in Ballard?

I was at the Locks this morning, hoping to photograph some birds in the
nice, early light. Birds were there, and so was the fog, darnit, but I saw
three Geese that I did not recognize, so I grabbed a couple of shots. You
can see the picture here:

I asked for an ID on a Photo Forum and a fellow from the UK id'd this as a
Greylag. In looking at this site:
http://www.utm.edu/departments/cece/old_site/trugeese.shtml, these birds do
not appear to be native here. Does anyone have any idea if these are
"escapees" from someone's collection, or the Zoo? Or could they have
strayed this far off their normal path?
Thanks,
Bill Dewey
