Today I finally checked out the nest box under the Warren Ave Bridge from my
yard, and happy happy joy joy, there were two PEREGRINE FALCONS hanging
around! One bird was perched at the edge of the box. When the other bird
flew in and landed on the bridge support, the first bird hopped into the box
and settled down as if on eggs. Bird #2 stayed away from bird #1 and the
box and just stood on the support, and soon bird #1 hopped back onto the
edge of the nest box. That was it for the action. Sometime this week or
next weekend I'll go to the little park across from the Sheridan Park
Community Center, where there's a much better view of the nest box, to try
to figure out if any eggs have been laid. Will probably check it out from
the end of Elizabeth Street on the West Bremerton side of the bridge.

Good birding,
Mary
