Hi Everyone,

Given below are links to two images from the eastern WA trip taken by Mason Flint, Evan Houston and me on Saturday. Neither are the best images I've ever shot, but they are both of species that aren't easy to get any decent shots at all.

Also, on a non-birding note, we discovered what we considered to be a very unusual mammal - or rather a very unusual location for a particular mammal. About 50 yards off Lower Crab Creek Road while looking for sparrows we came across an adult PORCUPINE up in a small tree. Which is why we thought the location was unusual - there simply aren't many trees at all, let alone forests, in that area. I've always thought of Porcupines as forest animals, though Marv Breece indicated he found one once in an area that was totally devoid of trees.
