Tweeters,

Have you seen the new WOS website? Nancy Hertzel has taken on this
important task for your state ornithological association and she
designed an all new look. There are several new additions to the
information offered on the website which is located at the same address,
http://www.wos.org/:

? Check out the ?Birding Locations? link on the home page. It?s not done
yet, but you?ll see the exciting potential immediately when you view
county locations and seasonal locations. If you have a favorite location
you?d like to share, please contact the WOS Webmaster, Nancy Hertzel, at
autumn207 at comcast.net. We will not be able to share information on the
location of sensitive species, such as Spotted Owls or grouse leks.
? There?s a new ?Volunteering Opportunities? link on the home page for
folks who want to sustain and add to this special organization. The
upcoming conference can use lots of temporary hands on jobs big and
small. Important long-term commitments are also available.
? The board is working hard to get up information about the upcoming
conference. You should be able to see the basic plan in just a week or
two. As more details become available, look to the new WOS website.
