After receiving an e-mail from Glenn and Mary Ann Teague that they
had seen a dozen RED-THROATED LOONS in Tidewater Cove in Vancouver my
wife and I made a search for them on Wednesday, March 12, at 5 PM we
could only find eleven there. This is an amazing concentration inland on
the Columbia River. Tidewater Cove is a private complex but there is a
public walkway along the river in front of the condominiums, park at
either Wintler Park our Marine Park and walk the paved pathway to see
them. They were in the small bay if front of the condos and close to
shore.
