BRENDAN HIGGINS is on a tear in greenbelt/ Jackson Park Seattle with 37 including TOWNSEND?S WARBLER & HAIRY, Downy & Pileated WOODPECKERs.

Ditto BILL MORRIS with 28 in Green Lake R who also has a TOWNSEND?S W. plus a WINTER WREN & CEDAR WAXWING. Morris has hit exactly 50--the Green Lake YBR record--for two years running.

SANDY DANIELS & KEVIN STEINER are at 38 with AMERICAN KESTREL & EVENING GROSBEAK, and also have one of the best YARDBIRDSTORIES?a three-year-old Bald Eagle that got annoyed when some very realistic looking WIGEON & GADWALL decoys refused to be intimidated by it?s (her?) aerial assault:
