The first weekend of pre-festival field trips for the Sandhill Crane Festival will be Saturday March 15 at 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. They are personal (up to 9 in a single van) and key on cranes, burrowing owls, tricolored blackbirds and other local specialties of Columbia NWR and the Othello area.
