It's not the White-throated Magpie Jay that I saw in Costa Rica. To quote
from "A Guide to the Birds of Costa Rica"" by F. Gary Stiles and Alexander F.
Skutch: "A large (18") blue-and-white jay with a long, graduated tail and an
extravagant crest of long, forwardly curved feather." The White-throated
Magpie Jay is much larger than that shown in the add, tail feathers are longer
than the body and the crest is like three California Quail crests.
